I will give them my money.

Brekyn keeps a counting piggy bank. (A clear jar with a twist off lid.) He saves every dollar & every penny that people give him, and also scavenges pennies from anywhere and everywhere. He is what you would call a penny pincher. He does not like to spend this money, not even on toys. He wants to save it. But of course he'll let me buy all the toys in the world. Haha.

This weekend, the Seymour firemen were at the intersection and they were collecting money. He was thinking and asking about what they were doing. I answered him that they were collecting money. He said, "What for?" I said, "To help them put out fires." He answered, "Oh, so when people give them money, they can go put out fires?" I said, "Well, kind of. They need money to help pay for supplies and water." He says,"Ohhhh, to pay for waaatttterr. Oh okay. Well I need to give them my money from my piggy bank! I'll give them ALL my dollars to help them."

 I thought this was very thoughtful and generous of him to think about, especially with the way he hoards money. And he was just going to give it all the firemen for 'water.'
